GIFFORD PINCHOT III
Gifford Pinchot III and his wife coined the term “Intrapreneur” in 1978. His first book about intrapreneuring was published in 1985, it was a New York Times bestseller and published in 15 languages. He went on to consult about intrapreneurship with over half of the Fortune 100 and many international organizations.
Since 1983, Gifford and Libba have led Pinchot & Company, a consulting and training business, which has served half of the Fortune 100 and helped them launch over 700 new products and businesses.
Mr. Pinchot has received numerous awards among them, Executive Excellence ranking him number 32 amongst the top 100 leadership thinkers. As well as an honorary Doctorate of Law from U. of Puget Sound. In 2009, he was awarded the Olympus Lifetime Education Award. And in 2010, they were both named Purpose Prize fellows.
Gifford graduated from Harvard University in 1965 with an honors degree in Economics.
Gareth has over 20 years of experience as a Senior Manager and Director within the power and gas industries before moving to help set up a consultancy which built an unrivalled reputation in delivering leadership capacity, customer excellence and creative ways of working.
Gareth is an executive coach and mentor, working with board level directors in several private and public organizations. Including those in the NHS, Government Office, O2, The Big Lottery and Npower.
